Let go of your fears. Let go of your ego. Do it for you and not for them.
This concept has been something I’ve really been working on with myself lately. Scared of what other people will think about the things I say or do. The things I put my heart into and then put out into the world. We can all relate to being afraid to put your whole heart into something because of what people might think of it. After all, one of the most vulnerable things you can do is to speak your truth through your passions. At least for me, it has been such a struggle to let go of the expectations and judgments of others and to publicly express my thoughts and opinions. We all just want to blend in and be accepted by our peers as one of the pack. And every one of us holds such deeply personal beliefs that we often don’t express because of fear of judgment. So doing something like disagreeing with the majority or bringing your own values to a situation can be scary.
This year I’m focusing on my own paradigm shift with how the way others see me effects the way I see myself. I’m lucky to never have focused too much on other opinions of me. But lately, with working on creating some things on this blog that I’m passionate about, I’ve realized how the opinions of others have an effect my work. Scared that they might see me differently after reading things that come from my heart. Scared they might peg me as an outsider or judge the things I’ve worked so hard on. But what I’ve come to realize is this: whatever you do, do it for you, not for them.
You cant worry about what others expect from you or what they might think of the things you love. When you are passionate about something, put your heart into it full force. Letting other peoples judgments fall into the distance as you rise up and create something beautiful. Too many girls I know have hidden talents that go unutilized and unopreciated because they don’t share them with the world. Everyone deserves to share their talents and passions. If we did, the world would be a much more beautiful place because of it. So do what you love and put it out into the universe. Not caring what others may think in the process. Because in the end, it doesn’t matter what they think. It only matters how you see yourself and how you feel about the things you create. Whatever you do, do it with good intentions, a clear mind, and an open heart. Do it for you, you deserve it.

So true. I need to work on this myself. Not that easy after so many years of holding back or making decisions based on others. Live authenticly is my new goal 😊
