Idols.
I have been so fortunate in my life as to have had so much access to such inspiring role models via the internet. Part of what makes all of these incredible individuals so amazing to me is the fact that when they were my age, they had no medium to connect and learn from wise people like themselves in such ready availability. They had to work, and fail, and learn to be great on their own. I’m in such a fortunate position as to have many role models in my life to inspire me to be great now (not just when I grow up). This is an ode to them. To the people, whose great strengths I try to emulate in my own life while figuring out how to be great by simply being me. <3
Role models are very important to me. They inspire me to continue paving the way towards positive progress. To stand up for what I believe in and be passionate in the pursuit of change. Today, create a list of people who inspire you to do and be better. Keep the list in a visible place where you will see it often. And try to emulate the best traits of each person who inspires you in your everyday life. Use this as a way to empower yourself, and in return empower others to be better as well. “Empowered women, empower women”.
